Jessica graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Louisiana State University in 2013. She was awarded College Honors for successful defense of a multi-semester thesis paper, and was named the 2013 LSU Discover Scholar Award winner for exemplifying outstanding undergraduate research in the College of Art and Design.
During her studies, she worked in collaboration with design professionals, preservationists, community leaders, and LSU Office of Community Design and Development to accelerate sustainable development through participation in three Historic Main Street Association Studios.
Following graduation, Jessica began work at a local firm specializing in custom residential design and renovation. Ultimately, it was her passion for historic renovations and local downtown revitalization that attracted her to DNA Workshop.
Since joining DNA, she has collaborated on several projects including a historic hotel renovation, commercial office renovation, and multi-family housing. Jessica is currently project manager for renovations to a historic plantation house in South Louisiana.
