DNA Workshop

DNA Workshop

Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Area: 8,000 sf
Project Cost: $300,000
Completion Date: 2013

DNA Workshop chose to locate its new headquarters within Mid-City, Baton Rouge for the cultural value of the area and the opportunity to have a positive impact on the future growth of one the city’s most historic communities. The building, originally a cold storage warehouse, was renovated utilizing much of the existing structural members and materials in order to retain the building's character while introducing sustainable techniques that contribute to the certification goal of LEED Gold. The removal of the roof in a central area creates a dramatic interior courtyard, shared by the building’s tenants and offering natural light to the surrounding office spaces.
