Albert Pike Hotel

Area: 128,000 sf
Project Cost: $11,000,000
Completion Date: 2014

The Albert Pike Hotel is a historic building built in 1929 in the heart of Little Rock, Arkansas. Built in the Italian-Spanish Revival style, the hotel elegantly displays leaded and stained glass windows, wrought iron detailing, and elaborate tilework. After being added to the National Register of Historic places in 1978, the hotel was restored and updated to modern standards with the help of a grant through the Historical Preservation Society. DNA Workshop led a recent rehabilitation of the building which includes 132 ADA compliant apartment units in both wings of the building, as well as restoration of the historic ballroom, lobby, coffee shop, and dining room. Original light fixtures, masonry, and stonework were also restored to reflect the building’s opulent past.
