500 Laurel

Originally designed in 1955 by renowned architect A Hays Town as a classic midcentury modern structure in the heart of downtown. Unfortunately, this 26,000 sf six-story commercial space fell into disrepair before It was purchased in 2013. DNA Workshop led a renovation that transformed the building back into its former glory, removing poorly constructed additions and updating it to meet the practical needs of its new tenant – Business First Bank.

The B1 Bank team needed a new home that told their story to everyone who entered it. The clean lines, interior exterior relationship, and abundant natural light create a striking space for their customers to do business, fostering a relationship of openness and trust. The space includes a large open lobby, several conference rooms, and both private and shared office space.

The DNA Workshop team was honored to bring this design by A Hays Town back into commerce.
